Terms of service

RootsWP B.V. provides a dashboard that lets the customer monitor, update and back up WordPress sites. The service is delivered as a subscription and accessed over the internet.

The customer remains responsible for the content, hosting and operation of the sites connected to the service.

The customer creates an account and is responsible for keeping login details and connection keys confidential. Actions carried out through the account are the customer's responsibility.

The service may not be used to access sites the customer does not have permission to manage.

The trial runs for 14 days and is free of charge. At the end of the trial the customer selects a plan. Without a choice, the account is frozen and deleted after thirty days.

All prices are in euros and exclude VAT. Monthly subscriptions are invoiced in advance each month, yearly subscriptions in advance each year.

Once the site limit is exceeded, the customer cannot connect a new site until a larger plan is chosen.

The subscription can be cancelled monthly and runs until the end of the paid period. A yearly subscription stops renewing once cancelled.

After termination, data remains available for export for thirty days, after which it is deleted.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but maintenance or outages at suppliers can cause interruptions. Planned maintenance is announced in advance.

Liability is limited to the amount the customer paid for the service in the twelve months before the event. Liability for consequential damages is excluded, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district where RootsWP B.V. is registered.
